Adversity. This can lead to reflection. A search for answers. Meanwhile, there has always been belief in a higher power. It has been difficult to make sense of though. So, I reflect, search, study and write. Then remain open minded to learn while doing my best to maintain faith.

Experiencing symptoms from traumatic brain injury, concussions and repetitive head hits. Challenging to manage. Adversity. That’s why efforts have been put into rehabilitation for 16 years.

Decades of repetitive head hits, concussions and traumatic brain injury. The last brain injury, 2012. At this time, I had to stop all activities. One reason, post concussive symptoms. These became an issue during late teenage years. Then they increased in severity, with additional symptoms appearing, throughout my twenties and thirties.

In May 2023 I was admitted to the ICU. Then I stopped breathing. This led to being put on a ventilator. Since that time the health has continued to decline.
