Most times I’m outside there’s a Hawk. Sometimes 2-3.

Today there was 1. It was on top of a tree. Then it passed overhead and went back to its tree. The second time it passed at close distance. The closest a Hawk ever has. I went back out a while later. It was back on the tree.

I’ve had similar experiences when I used to hike every week. Oftentimes, when I was alone with Rock in the backcountry there was a Hawk. It was following overhead.

This may not mean anything. For some reason it feels meaningful to me though. The Hawk is symbol associated with Crazy Horse. He’s one of the many leaders I’ve studied. His story and the way he lived his life resonates in a way that no other has.

I also believe the Hawk is somehow associated with Guardian Angels.
